The Dayton Audio WP80XTB is designed as a compact pendant speaker for commercial and residential audio systems. Its 2-way coaxial layout combines a graphite cone woofer with a silk dome tweeter for clear, balanced sound, while the passive radiator extends low-frequency performance beyond what is typical for sealed pendant designs.
With a frequency response of 37 to 20,000 Hz and 50 W RMS power handling, the WP80XTB delivers full-range audio for spaces where discreet overhead placement is preferred. The 90° coverage angle helps distribute sound evenly, making it suitable for patios, hospitality venues, retail spaces and other outdoor speaker applications.
Installation flexibility is a key advantage of the WP80XTB. The integrated transformer supports 70V taps of 3.12 W, 6.25 W, 12.5 W and 25 W, plus 100V taps of 6.25 W, 12.5 W, 25 W and 50 W. An 8 ohm bypass also allows use with standard amplifiers, giving installers one speaker platform for multiple system types.
The IP66-rated ABS enclosure is built for dependable performance in demanding environments, while the black finish keeps the design clean and professional. Supplied mounting hardware includes a top cover, eyebolt and nut, plus a hanging cable with carabiner for secure pendant mounting. The speaker measures 375 x 253.4 mm and weighs 4.98 kg.
