The Amplimo 2N1357 is designed for valve amplifiers and provides separate high-voltage and heater supply windings. Its secondary configuration consists of two 120 V windings rated at 100 mA each and two 6.3 V windings rated at 2 A each, with all voltages specified under full ohmic load.
With dual 115 V primary windings, the transformer can be wired for 115 V mains operation in parallel or 230 V mains operation in series. This makes it a practical choice for tube amplifier power supplies where a compact toroidal transformer with multiple secondary outputs is required.
The transformer has a diameter of 82 mm, a height of 39 mm and a weight of 0.75 kg without mounting hardware. All leads are solid and approximately 200 mm long. Supplied mounting materials include one 70 mm metal washer, two 70 mm neoprene washers and one M5 x 50 bolt with nut.
For reliable integration into amplifier accessories and DIY builds, the 2N1357 carries KEMA KEUR, ENEC, CE and UL/CSA approvals and is suitable for 50 Hz and 60 Hz use. Time-lag primary fuses are required, with 0.5 A for 115 V mains and 0.25 A for 230 V mains, and additional protection is required for each secondary winding.
