The REDCATT CX6F140F is built as a compact coaxial driver for professional speakers and custom loudspeaker projects where controlled output, efficiency and space-saving integration are important. Its LF and HF sections share a combined magnetic circuit, helping the driver deliver full-range performance from a single mounting position.

The low-frequency section uses a REDCATT-developed paper pulp cone, supported by a fabric/PEN surround and Nomex spider. With 95.50 dB sensitivity, an LF voice coil diameter of 44.5 mm and LF 100 W AES power handling, this woofer is designed for strong performance in demanding compact systems.

The high-frequency assembly is based around REDCATT’s dome design and uses a CNC-machined aluminum mini waveguide for precise alignment. The hybrid ferrite-neodymium magnetic circuit is engineered to reduce flux modulation, while an aluminum demodulation ring in the HF section supports stable operation.

For enclosure design, the CX6F140F supports vented alignments from 5 to 12 liters, with tuning options from 95 Hz down to 70 Hz using a 50 mm port. Sealed alignments are also possible for very compact or sub-assisted audio components, including PA coaxial column and ceiling applications paired with an active subwoofer.
