Dual banana plugs have been widely used in the electronics industry since early in the last century. Commonly used with test equipment, dual banana plugs are designed with industry standard 19.1 mm center to center post spacing. A plastic tag molded to one side of the connector is marked GND so the user can quickly identify the negative side of the connector. An integrated strain relief on one side of the connector holds the cable securely in place. Accepts up to 12 AWG cable and attaches with screw terminals so soldering is not necessary. Gold plated brass contacts will provide a lifetime of use free of oxidation.
