This DIY speaker KIT is Visaton’s answer on the question, if it is possible to design a small bookshelf speaker with a balanced soundstage and powerful bass reproduction.
Visaton PACTO DIY Components Pack
The PACTO is a F.A.S.T. speaker design with a compact bass reflex enclosure. The FR 58 full-range driver is combined with the W 130 X subwoofer to ensure a powerful low frequency reproduction. The drivers share a crossover point of 250 Hz thanks to a simple three part crossover. The critical frequency range is delivered through a single driver for precise imaging an accurate soundstage reproduction. Thanks to the front located bassreflex slot, this compact speaker can be positioned close or even against to the backwall.
Note: Cabinets are not included.
