The NERO-15OBN450D is a high-performance 15-inch subwoofer specifically engineered for open baffle applications. Its long-stroke design enables a generous 16 mm linear excursion (Xmax) and a mechanical limit of 48 mm, allowing it to move significant air without distortion.
At its core is a 4" copper-clad aluminum wire (CCAW) voice coil with an APC coating, wound on a fiberglass former for thermal and mechanical stability. The open yoke venting (OYV) and flared, vented pole piece ensure ultra-low compression and quiet operation.
