The Amplimo 20PP8K0S is designed for tube amplifiers that require a push-pull output transformer with an 8000 Ω primary impedance. As one of the key audio components in the output stage, it provides secondary connections for 0, 4 Ω, and 8 Ω loudspeaker loads.
With a nominal power rating of 20 W, this toroidal transformer combines a compact form factor with wide frequency performance. Its -3 dB bandwidth reaches from 7 Hz to 80 kHz at 1 mW, while the power bandwidth starts at 35 Hz, supporting stable wideband operation in suitable tube amplifier designs.
The transformer includes 35% ultralinear taps and specified turns ratios of 44.8 for 4 Ω and 31.5 for 8 Ω operation. Use only one secondary tap at a time, selecting either the 4 Ω or 8 Ω output connection according to the connected speaker load.
