ButtKicker bass shakers
ButtKicker adds tactile low frequency effects to audio, home cinema and simulation systems. Rather than reproducing sound like a conventional loudspeaker, a ButtKicker tactile transducer converts low frequency audio signals into physical movement. This allows bass effects to be felt as well as heard. At SoundImports, you can find several ButtKicker solutions, including the ButtKicker LFE and ButtKicker Mini LFE. These tactile transducers can be mounted to structures such as seating, platforms and simulator rigs to transfer low frequency effects directly to the user.
About ButtKicker
ButtKicker is a brand of US based The Guitammer Company and specialises in haptic audio technology. Its tactile transducers convert low frequency audio signals into mechanical movement and are used in applications including home theatre, gaming, simulation and professional entertainment. This makes a ButtKicker different from a conventional subwoofer. A subwoofer moves air to reproduce audible low frequencies, while a tactile transducer transfers movement directly through the structure to which it is attached. The two technologies can therefore complement each other in an audio system.
ButtKicker LFE and Mini LFE for tactile bass
The ButtKicker LFE is designed to reproduce powerful tactile low frequency effects, while the ButtKicker Mini LFE provides a more compact option for installations with less available space. Choosing between them depends on factors such as the application, mounting method and amplifier.
ButtKicker transducers can be used for movies and music as well as gaming and simulation setups. Explore all bass shakers at SoundImports to compare ButtKicker with other tactile transducer solutions.
