The SMSL A6 is a multifunctional amplifier meaning that it has a built-in DAC, phono preamplifier and headphone amplifier that can be used independently and simultaneously. For these applications the most recent technologies and components are used such as alow jitter clock system, asynchronous DSD supported decoding and XMOS decoding, performed by the AKM AK4452 chip amplified by the ICEpower 50ASX2 and Maxim MAX9722A amplifier chips. All of these components function independently granting minimal interference and incredibly low distortion ratings.
