The 186FIND handles 1800 W AES, 3600 W continuous and 7200 W peak power, while the 114.3 mm copper voice coil is built for high-temperature operation. With 96 dB sensitivity and a resonant frequency of 33 Hz, it is engineered for serious output in the low-frequency range.

The cone uses a paper pulp construction mixed with glass fibers, supported by a fabric surround and a large Nomex spider. This combination supports durability, controlled excursion and strong bass reproduction. The high-grade ferrite motor creates a symmetrical flux field, while the extended space below the voice coil allows the driver to operate with substantial mechanical movement.

For enclosure design, the 186FIND works in bass-reflex alignments such as 135 liters tuned to 37 Hz for high output and strong mid-bass, 160 liters tuned to 33 Hz for a balanced general-purpose setup, or 190 liters tuned to 29 Hz for extended low-frequency performance with high-pass filter protection. This makes it suitable for vented bass-mid-woofer projects, dedicated subwoofer builds and touring bass bins.
