The REDCATT 15FPM is built as a professional bass-mid woofer for high-output systems that need both low-frequency authority and usable midrange extension. Its carbon fiber reinforced paper cone combines low moving mass with strength, while the high-excursion triple-roll surround supports controlled movement in demanding audio components and loudspeaker designs.

With 97.87 dB sensitivity and a 41 Hz resonant frequency, the 15FPM is designed for efficient performance in vented PA bass-mid cabinets. The extended mid-frequency range makes it a strong option for powerful 2-way systems, while its characteristics also suit 3-way touring tops and other professional speaker applications where high output and clarity are required.

The motor system uses a ferrite magnet and a 101.6 mm voice coil with square aluminum ribbon winding for fast transient behaviour. Power handling is specified at 1000 W AES, 2000 W continuous and 4000 W peak, giving the driver the capacity needed for modern professional sound reinforcement.

For bass reflex designs, REDCATT recommends several enclosure alignments: 105 liters tuned to 47 Hz for high output and strong mid-bass, 120 liters tuned to 41 Hz for a balanced general-purpose response, or 145 liters tuned to 36 Hz for extended low-frequency output with high-pass filter protection. Key mounting dimensions include a 392 mm overall frame size, 360 mm baffle cutout, 150 mm mounting depth and 8 mounting holes.
