The Sure Electronics AA-AB41171 is designed as a versatile Bluetooth DAC converter for systems that need both analog and digital output options. It receives audio wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 and can send the signal to an amplifier through stereo RCA, or to compatible digital inputs through optical or coaxial S/PDIF.
For audio performance, the AA-AB41171 combines a Qualcomm QCC3095 Bluetooth solution with an independent ES9018 decoding chip. It supports common and high-quality Bluetooth codecs including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX-HD, aptX-Adaptive, aptX-Lossless and LDAC, with 24-bit / 96 kHz sampling support for high-resolution playback where the connected source device and codec allow it.
The rear panel provides USB Type-C power input, coaxial output, optical output and a Bluetooth antenna connection. The front side includes RCA analog outputs, Bluetooth and power LED status indication, plus a Bluetooth unpairing button. This makes the unit practical for use with home audio systems, AV receivers, home theatre systems and soundbars that accept analog, optical or coaxial input.
With its compact 64.0 x 95.4 x 26.0 mm enclosure, low 0.48 W power consumption and 5 V / 0.5 A USB-C power requirement, the AA-AB41171 is easy to place in a desktop or hi-fi setup. The external Bluetooth antenna helps maintain a stable wireless connection, while standard RCA, optical and coaxial audio cables can be used to connect the receiver to the rest of your system.
