The HPR12 is a 12V voltage regulator. Together with the HNR12 it forms the optional HxR upgrade for UcD180HG and Ucd400HG.

Hypex HPR12 Positive Voltage Regulator 12V
The HxR upgrade contains two voltage regulators: this HPR12 and the HNR12. These are for bypassing the standard regulators for the opamp section onboard the UcD modules. The HxR (HPR12/HNR12) has wider bandwidth, lower noise and lower output impedance. Clean supplies are an important aspect for good audio reproduction. The UcD HG modules have a stuffing option to easily allow users to upgrade their amplifier modules with these regulators. The use of these regulators in combination with the UcD HG amplifier modules further improves the sound quality. For upgrading the UcD HG modules the HNR12 and HPR12 are both required.
HxR is an option for the UcD180HG and the UcD400HG. The HxR regulators could also be used for upgrading other equipment requiring 12V regulators, if the current draw is less then 100mA.
