The REDCATT 140FCD is built as a high-frequency tweeter solution for professional loudspeaker systems. With its ferrite magnet structure, 8 ohm impedance and 106 dB sensitivity, it offers strong efficiency for demanding PA, portable column and commercial installation applications.

At the core of the driver is a 1.4" voice coil and a polymer diaphragm formed with an integrated suspension. The FEM-optimized venting features help reduce harmonic distortion, while REDCATT’s magnetic gap volume tuning improves transient response and overall clarity.

The 140FCD is designed as a dependable audio component for 2-way and multi-way systems. It handles 30 W AES power, 60 W continuous power and up to 120 W peak power, supported by a high-temperature voice coil former and bonding process developed for long-term reliability in professional use.

Acoustic output is guided through a radial phase plug and 1.0" throat aperture, making the driver suitable for use with compatible horns and waveguides. The driver uses four mounting holes, has a 48 mm flange-to-rear depth and weighs 1.10 kg for practical integration into compact and full-size high-frequency sections.
