The REDCATT 16TN is a small-format dome tweeter designed for applications where front baffle space is limited. Its compact plastic carrier includes two mounting holes, making it suitable for tightly packaged designs without giving up extended high-frequency output.

The diaphragm is made from poly-silk and formed as a single piece with the suspension. It is paired with an aluminum former voice coil and a neodymium magnetic system, giving this tweeter a lightweight construction that is well suited to portable products and compact HF sections.

With 4 ohm rated impedance, 82 dB sensitivity, and a resonant frequency of 2000 Hz, the 16TN is intended for high-frequency duties in small systems. Power handling is rated at 5 W AES, 10 W continuous, and 20 W peak, giving clear limits for integration into compact speaker projects.

Typical applications include micro column arrays, miniature consumer 2-way systems, TV bars, and ultra-compact PA satellite designs. The standard connector can also be adapted or replaced with another connector type or conventional fast-on terminals when the application requires a different connection approach.
