The Amplimo 3N604 is designed as a toroidal power transformer for valve amplifier builds. It provides two 115 V primary windings, allowing operation on 115 V mains with the primaries connected in parallel or on 230 V mains with the primaries connected in series. This makes it a practical choice for suitable amplifiers that require a dedicated tube amplifier transformer.

The secondary side offers three outputs for typical valve amplifier power requirements: 250 V at 200 mA, 6.3 V at 2.2 A and 30 V at 0.1 A. All voltages are specified under full ohmic load, with 10% regulation. For builders selecting power supplies and related transformer hardware, these clearly defined secondary ratings help simplify integration.
